The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce will offer a 112.5-point major and 75-point minor in the BA. Students intending to major in Economics should note that Mathematical Methods is a prerequisite for 316-130 Quantitative Methods 1, 316-101 Introductory Macroeconomics. 316-102 Introductory Microeconomics must be completed before entering Level Two 316-201 Intermediate Macroeconomics and 316-202 Intermediate Microeconomics.
